As a result of continued business expansion, they now seek to add another Construction Manager to the team in Saskatoon. The Role: The Construction Manager will have authority and responsibility in the following areas: · Management of Client, Consultant, and trade relationships · Pursuit and acquisition of in scope projects · Leadership in the development of project plans and strategies · Management of project performance targets, schedule, profitability, EH&S, quality · Value engineering , drive cost out and profitability & competitiveness in · Conduct negotiations · Oversee preparation and execution of the prime contracts · To be the ambassador of our core values · Coach and mentor project team members To Fit the Role: General Your seniority and experience in the commercial construction business has prepared you for this role. You are already in a similar role or you aspire to this as your next step. You have demonstrable experience on large scale projects. (In excess of 100m general value) You bring well developed people and project management skills. Your competencies include, planning, and budgeting, estimating, contract management, project administration, decision making, and creative problem solving. Experience: 8 or more years post degree in successively more senior roles in a construction company. Compensation: Generous base Salary, plus Bonus, Perks, expenses and company vehicle.
